found an interesting article in the Guardian – what would happen if we focused on birth rather than death?
It seems a simple question, and a self-evident one. Of course we have to focus on life, right? But as the article points out, the Christian fascination with death as the portal to the immortal afterlife leaves us feeling alone and isolated. Birth and physical life necessarily bind us together with our loved ones, and turn the focus towards loving in the present moment.
