London
After a marathon last two days of packing, we have made it to london.
And today, we went to Portobello market.

I would highly reccomend this experience to anybody, except those with fear of large crowds and a mind-boggling array of goods and people of all types. Clothes of all kinds stretched across as far as the eye could see and there was such a diversity of people that everyone blended in with
everyone else, including the ladies with the dancing dogs and the girl with bright blue and red hair.

When I was at the market, I bought a bag shaped like an elephant, which I like quite a lot.

We may go to the Tate modern art museum tomorrow (it’s free!! hooray for free stuff in london!!), and look at the exhibition on picasso and matisse.
then the day after that, it’s down to Dorset to visit the grandad and sit on the beach. I could really do with some sun and surf at the moment; london is fun, and there is loads of cool stuff, but it is loud and busy ALL THE TIME.
I spoke to grandad on the phone yesterday though, and he told me a quote from a man named Dr. Johnson who said:
“When a man is tired of London he is tired of life”
Maybe I’m not that tired of it yet…
