here are the photos from our holiday in kerry. I’m having a bit of a thing with trees at the moment, and I really enjoyed taking photos of them.

First we stayed a night with Andy, who put us to work digging gardens and making greenhouses. Then we spent a night with Noah who is housesitting for some friends who live in the old Glengarriff schoolhouse. We drove to Kerry on Thursday and on the way we met a friendly farmer named John, ate lunch at a stone circle and were nearly mobbed by the sheep in the field when we went to get out of the car, and walked around Muckross Woods in Killarney and discovered all kinds of fascinating things. That night we stayed at the mountain rest hostel near Carrigtoohill, which is a mountain that we climbed the following morning. In the afternoon we drove to Dingle, I put my toes in the
Atlantic at Inch Strand, we drove around the Slea Head peninsula, and ate dinner at a vegetarian restuarant/organic garden/bed&breakfast called the Phoenix. Even though they weren’t really open the girl working there offered to serve us soup and bread anyway. It was like eating dinner at a friends house. And Friday night we drove home.
