the matrix: revolutions is the worst film in the history of cinema.

I couldn’t think of any words that fully described the badness of this film, so I turned to the thesaurus. merriam webster online

Entry Word: bad

Function: adjective

Text: 1 falling short of a standard of what is satisfactory (a bad repair job)

Synonyms: amiss, bum, crappy, dissatisfactory, poor, punk, rotten, unsatisfactory, wrong

Related word: deficient, inadequate, inferior; careless, slipshod; defective, disordered, off, unsound; execrable, lousy, miserable, pisspoor, wretched; inadmissible, objectionable, unacceptable; insufferable, intolerable

Idioms: below par, not up to snuff (or scratch)

That nearly does it, but there’s still something missing. It’s that feeling of the producers putting their hands into your pockets and groping around for your cash. It might also be that feeling that there is a joke being pulled here, and everyone is laughing at you. At least the producers are laughing, as they run all the way to the bank with your money.

If I push myself to find the good in this experience, I do come up with something. It was an excellent lesson in bad writing. Ever wondered how to make your audience tune out and drop off? Just watch the matrix! The most boring, horrible, flat, meaningless dialogue ever!! it was really shocking. I think they got their finance director to write the script.
