Joining the techno-masses
If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been playing with the site a bit. only a small bit, because my html skills are still at the rudimentary level, but I’ve been enjoying it quite a lot. And now I am feeling inspired to learn more, to take control of the power of the internet and wield it in my direction, to make popup windows and header logos and any number of the infinite variations possible for a webpage. when there is midi music and rotating pics, you have full permission to stop the madness.
We also got a mobile phone over the weekend, thanks to nima. learning to text and building up my thumb muscles.
Are there any other greymatter bloggers out there who can help me with the creation and evolution of this site? what I would like to do is make the names of the books in the book review section into links which make popups with my own review of the book in them. alternatively, the link takes you to another part of the site with reviews and such on it. any help would be greatly appreciated…
anyway, I think that part of the pleasure of website tweaking (apart from the pleasure associated with feeding my high-speed internet addiction during downtime at work) is that I should really be job-hunting with my free time instead. And with that, I am off to the recruitment sites ~—>
