How Bees Make Honey
I am a busy bee, gathering pollen in the summer breeze.
Shaking things up, stirring them around, sorting them out.
Tom is going to be away for the whole month of august. I am starting to prepare, both mentally and physically. stock up and make plans.
With this mania that comes on at the end of the summer, I feel compelled to start an infinite number of new projects. A hundred and one plans full of potential. I’ll study to become a florist, running my own shop and making beautiful boquets and bunches. I’ll start a phD studying computer-human interaction. I’ll become a master at website design. I’ll listen to and sort our entire music collection. I will keep the house immaculately tidy. I will read all those books I’ve always wanted to read. I will make crowds of friends and have them over for social evenings with handmade appetisers and cocktails. I will travel alone, exploring unknown beaches and climbing giant trees for the view…
What I’d really like to do is discover a preservative for enthusiasm.
