time has been flying by recently. I just realized that I haven’t posted anything in ages…

christmas is coming up in a month, and I have no idea what to get for tom’s family. Work is going well, we are two weeks into our six weeks of training. Clem is here visiting, and we are still trying to get everything out of the boxes and into some kind of organized arrangement. The mountain of laundry has hardly changed size at all, despite my continual efforts at washing. The obstacle is in the drying…the battle with the DAMP. Things just don’t really air dry here. A load can take 2 or 3 days to dry, even with the drying rack sitting in front of our heaters. and we could put it all in the tumble dryer, but it’s expensive and only drys a little bit at once.

But it’s good to be busy. And things feel under control; I am coping! Everything is getting easier and easier to deal with, which is a good sign.
