so I’m another year older and wiser…. and I still love getting new birthday clothes!! (especially boots)

we had a great time in galway, did loads of shopping, hanging out and partying. there was even a cake with 23 candles on it! (holy fire hazard batman…) we rented a holiday apartment which was eerily like the first flat we lived in, and it had a fantastic view out over the river. It is the river Corrib that runs through galway, and it is very deep and fast. Rapids develop at certain points where it twists and turns through town. It is the kind of river that would carry away anything you dropped into it.

my birthday always means that christmas is really upon us now, and the preparations are underway. we are going to go get a tree sometime this week, and the lists are being drawn up and little pressies being bought here and there. there’s plenty of time yet, though….plenty of time.
