Inspired by Kirsten’s link to the Softies for Mirabel project, I decided to set about making my first softie. Well, my second really, as I made a Waldorf style doll for Bea’s first birthday. But that doll was made from a kit, with detailed instructions. I was sailing off into relatively uncharted territory here by making up something as I went along.

I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out. If I had more time I would make some to send to the Mirabel project, but for now this one is going underneath the tree in 21 days.
